The Vibram Ridge is one of the best disc golf putters on the market. Like all Vibram discs, it’s made of ultra durable rubber. It offers an excellent grip with a nice solid feel to it. When it comes to actually making short putts from 10 to 30 feet, from my testing the Ridge ranks #1. Compared with 26 other disc golf putters made by several different manufacturers, I was able to make more putts with the Ridge than any other disc. After more than a hundred throws with each disc, this putter performed best for me in putts from 20 and 25 feet.
Because the Ridge is made of high quality rubber, it’s not the cheapest disc golf putter on the market. However, if it does for your game what it does for mine — allow you to make more putts — it’s well worth a few extra bucks. The nice thing about the Vibram Ridge is that you aren’t going to have to worry about it wearing out to fast, and since it is a putter, your probability of losing it is fairly minimal.
